The widow of Delphi, or The descent of the deities [manuscript] : a musical drama in five acts, 1780.

Prepared and used at Covent Garden, written out by at least three probably professional copyists and annotated by further hands, with some autograph revisions and additions by Cumberland (opposite p. 7 and throughout the last act). Marked-up with prompt symbols (indicating calls and stage directions), with various cuts in dialogue and with list of Dramatis Personae. With notes by Thomas Badcock tipped in at the beginning of the manuscript (8 p.). These notes include biographical information on Cumberland and copies of three letters from Cumberland to Mrs. Abington.
